Not a physical one… but an emotional one.

It was left there by my father.

For many years my father and I never spoke… there was a lot of tumultious murky water under the bridge… and sadly in recent years he ended up with Parkinsons and this changed alot of things.

My Dad was always there for me… if I was in strife, it would be him that came and rescued me, if I was in need he was always there to provide, but I never noticed this til the last few years.

Dad is 75 now, and the storms of life are raging in some areas… and stilling in others. Above all else… after this REAL storm… I am just thankful that I have both my parents… as Dad said on the phone, “Love, if the tree had fallen the other way… we would of been gone.

I love you both… xox

What a beautiful scene as the snow begins to cover everything,

Icicle’s forming, crystallized water, that drips from every tree,

What a wonderful sight to see, as these drops form frozen memories,

Clear tentacles stretching here and there, as the snowflakes flitter everywhere,

A wondrous light shines within this snowy night, as she runs to and fro,

Like a silent chorus singing ever so bright, she is here, but her mind is elsewhere,

She is silently dancing with the children she sees, as crystal shaped tears fall from her eyes,

Songs of love she sings to everyone, as she holds them all so dear,

The snowflakes bring back memories for each one, as they hear the songs in their minds,

An innocent time that cannot be replaced as the sorrow shows upon their face,

For there tears are frozen in time, somewhere within their mind,

The shards from frozen teardrops tearing holes throughout their fragile souls,

The snow is getting deeper now, as the silence is all around,

Soft sobs of pain can be heard across the snowy way, as her precious head is looking down,

Her tears are falling softly to the snow, freezing as they go,

They form small shapes, like butterflies and dragonflies as they hit the ground,

A smile comes across her lovely face, as she breaks into laughter that fills the air,

She thanks the Lord for helping her make it through another day,

For He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, He has shed His crimson blood, so she can be free,

Free to shine as a lighthouse for all the children to see, a light so bright that it shatters the night,

The voice of an angel begins to float across the delicate wind, as she begins to spin,

Spin and dance she does, all over the land, playing with the snow and ice, that has formed again,

She looks into the sky and wonders why, why must it be this way, as the flakes land in her hair,

Frozen locks flowing from her mind as she spins and dances through time,

Snowflakes falling all around, a crystalline garden forming on the ground,
